Rachel came recommended to me. She started working with my son in the later part of July of this year with Algebra 2.  Within a few sessions,  she noticed his learning style and demeanor. When he was unsure of how to work a problem.  She has a way of changing the situation and opening his thought process. Then bringing him back to the problem with a clear mind.  My son has gained confidence in his math skills and himself in the course.  He’s doing very well.

During my Sophomore and Freshman years, Rachel has helped me in understanding concepts and writing lab reports in Chemistry.
Her teaching style is excellent: She explains concepts through understanding the foundations and why it works. She is excellent at analyzing where the gaps are and helps me improve on my weak spots. Rachel teaches joyfully: she encourages me by highlighting my strengths while giving constructive criticism in a positive manner. She has taught me how to become a better learner. Rather than memorizing terms and formulas, her tutoring style made me want to learn the concepts behind it.
