Examples of 3rd Grade Math
Multiplication Marvels
Every week this creative third grader focuses for an hour on math. Our secret? instead of taking breaks, we incorporate a big serving of art and the sillies!

Frankenstein Fractions
The FRANKENSTEIN BALL was created to show how 3rds could be divided into 6ths and then into 12ths. We sewed the ball back up like any mad scientist would.
Antics with Angles
Teaching study skills includes helping students formulate their own ways of remembering new terms. We sat stick figures in each of these angles to understand the “lazy obtuse lounge chair,” the “cramped acute angle,” and the perfect “queens throne” 90* angle.
